Bridal shows can be a great way to encounter new vendors, get inspiration for your wedding, or fill slots in your wedding day roster! You can meet everyone from a dentist to a live painter to a florist (or your friendly neighborhood wedding videographer)... Often, vendors will offer exclusive Bridal Show discounts that you can’t get everywhere else, so it can also help you get the best bang for your buck! Each bridal show will have a unique cast of wedding vendors to explore, each with their own deals, door prizes, and services to offer. You can certainly get a good start attending just one, but there may be a perfect vendor for you at the next show! It doesn’t hurt to go to a couple, or even a few! Below is a list of our favorite shows in the Grand Rapids area, including links to their website to find out scheduling.

Big Bridal Shows in Downtown Grand Rapids

If you’ve read our ultimate guide to bridal shows, you know that big shows offer the highest number of unique vendors, as well as showcasing multiple vendors of the same type. These shows are excellent for getting a lot of info from a lot of different vendors, but may not provide as much one-on-one time for Q&A. Some of the bigger bridal shows have already come and gone for Grand Rapids this year!

The Grand Rapids Bridal Show

Arguably the biggest name in bridal shows for GR, if not for all of west Michigan, the show put on by Bunny Tuxedo and Jenny in White is truly massive, featuring more than 100 vendors and a fashion show to show off wedding day styles from wedding gowns to tuxedos to bridesmaid dresses! They always have food and drinks available, as well as free samples from many caterers and bakers. We like to go to this show on an empty stomach 😉 Read more about them here! (Have a 2025 wedding? The Bridal Show of West Michigan

These events, held twice yearly by Kohler expos, feature over 100 vendors, and the January show even included an on-site tent display! If you already missed their winter expo, you can catch their Fall expo on October 12, 2024. This expo also includes a fashion show to dazzle you with the latest in wedding-wear! A Grand Rapids Wedding Affair

On their website, this bridal show as listed as Michigan’s Most Elegant Bridal Show! Featuring the gorgeous architecture of the Grand Rapids Public Museum along the Grand River, it’d be impossible to be anything but elegant! This event aims to provide top-of-the-line vendors in sophistication and elegance. While the event has already passed for this year, keep an eye on their website for next year’s show!

Smaller Grand Rapids Wedding Expos

Smaller bridal shows happen at various vendors throughout the city, especially with wedding venues! These shows are a lot more intimate, featuring unique vendors that were chosen by the venue, and with whom you can guarantee lots of one-on-one time. If you’re considering a certain venue, ask if they ever host an open house or wedding expo! This is a great opportunity to see your venue in action and meet some of their preferred vendors.

Downtown Market Wedding Showcase

Showcasing the dazzling sights of the Downtown Market, this wedding showcase will highlight plenty of interesting vendors. While you won’t see over 100 vendors, you will get one-on-one time with the vendors who attend and can expect to take home exclusive deals and wedding inspiration from this iconic downtown building. Studio D2D Open House

At another iconic Grand Rapids location from the other side of 131, Studio D2D is throwing open their doors and showing off their gorgeous, multi-floor venue space, as well as their preferred vendors.
