We asked them so you wouldn't have to.
We prefer to pick the music used in the highlight films. We always choose music that fits your day and your film. Wedding films are almost always more enjoyable and memorable if we choose a song that fits your film, rather than molding your film to fit a song. There's also a pretty good chance you'll have a new favorite song by the time we're done.
We always specially liscence the music in our films, which ensures the artist is paid for their work, and you get the peace of mind knowing everything in your video was acquired legally.
Probably! Check out the travel cost calculator on our weddings page. If you're located more than 150 miles from our home base, you'll have to contact us for a special quote.
Once you give us your deposit and signed contract, we'll leave you alone until one month prior to your day. At this point, we will request final locations and schedules (including photo schedules) from you.
On the day, we work around you. We do our best to capture mostly candid video, with a few staged shots here and there. We do however like to take a small amout of staged shots, so please be sure to slightly pad your photography schedule for us.
We prefer to take as much candid video as possible. This helps preserve the real feel and emotion of your day, not just what it's framed too look like. However, we will take 3 or 4 staged videos throughout the day, so please be sure to pad in some extra time in your photography schedule for us.
We take checks by mail, PayPal, and major credit cards.
Of course! We can meet you in Grand Rapids for coffee and a chat about what you want. Otherwise, we're more than willing to chat over the phone, Skype, FaceTime, or whatever new messaging service the kids are a-usin' these days.
Yes, please. We'll have been filming for a very long time at that point, and I promise your reception video will be a lot better if we're not hungry ;)
